As I spoke before about AUTHENTICITY, I want to bring that to my blog.
I know what I am going to say is going to upset some of you and go against the grain of what every content marketer says.
I don’t care!
I am being my authentic-self.
This is my blog!
In 2016, I filled over six pages with blog content that at the end of the year I looked at it and said, “WHO CARES?”
I am the first one to admit, I DO NOT follow design trends.
Trendy is the last stage before TACKY – Karl Lagerfeld
I really could careless that Pantones Color of the Year for 2017 is greenery, and I could careless about home to incorporate this color into your home.
In all seriousness, if this is what you are looking for, I am not the designer for you.
Recently, I have started noticing plenty of content that shames the reader.
For example, 10 Mistakes You are Making in the Design of Your Kitchen.
There are thousands of blog entries you can Google and find out about remodeling your home.
How much it will cost in your market?
If you want to know about the great designers of today and yesterday, there are plenty of blogs and information out there.
Why should I regurgitate the same information? Once again, WHO CARES?
If you are looking for DIY tips, you aren’t going to find them here.
I am obviously not that type of designer.
Should you be looking for me to give away my tips and tricks of the trade, not going to find that here.
That is my intellectual property.
Moving forward, before I post any content, my litmus test is WHO CARES?
I hope that my audience will find this a refreshing approach to the typical design blogs.
My content is intended to inspire the reader.
My content is intended to provide aspirational living.
My content is intended to help you live a will-lived life beginning at home.
So tell me, WHO CARES?
